Sydenham Barn is a great venue for a wedding. In May I was fortunate enough to photograph the wedding of Ryan and Melissa there. It was a great day with so much fun. After getting ready at the Bower Inn, the bride made the very short journey to Sydenham Barn. This wedding was a first for the venue as we were using their newly built outdoor wedding area. The florist had done a great job of decorating the pergola; it looked fabulous.
Following a lovely cermony and signing of the register, we took some family group shots and then went inside the barn for speaches and a high tea. After a very tasty high tea, everyone relaxed in the barn.
Evening Party
During the quiet time after the high tea I took the opportunity to backup the images I had already taken and select a few to produce a small slideshow of the day so far. After showing the bride and groom I like to set up the slideshow for all evening guests to see what has happend in the day so fay. Later in the evening after the cutting the cake, the band Gentlemen of the Road started playing. Following the first dance, I took the bride and groom outside to capture the sunet. Finally everyone enjoyed dancing the night away to the band and a disco.
