An Engagement Shoot provides a fantastic opportunity for both you and your fiancé and for me as the photographer. First of all, not many people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Therefore the session will enable you both to see how it feels being in front of the camera. It will give you both the chance to get comfortable with being photographed. For me as the photographer it gives me an opportunity to get to know you both. This will allow me to let your personalities show through in the images I create during this shoot and when I photograph your wedding day.
The session normally lasts about 1.5 hours and can be wherever you would like. This could be in a location that is special to both of you, such as the first place you met or even where the wedding proposal took place! This is so, even if you are not at first comfortable in front of a camera, you will at least be comfortable with your surroundings.
The other bonus of the session is that it allows me to create a range of stunning images from which I can produce a large mounted and framed print. This can then be displayed on your wedding day with a large mount providing enough space for all your wedding guests to sign it and leave a special message to you, the happy, newly-wed couple! This provides you with a truly unique memento of your wedding day.
In addition to the mounted print, you will also have the option to use some of the images as bespoke wedding invitations should you wish to. This service is provided as an optional extra; prices are available on request.
