Family Portraits are fun! Being able to capture the fun of a special family occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or just a family get together is a privilege. The location does not have to be a studio. In fact some of the best portraits are taken at a favourite location such as a park or on a walk or even at the beach! As people feel comfortable in familiar surroundings they tend to relax and enjoy the experience of a family portrait shoot. I recently met up with 3 families who had come together from around the world for a family portrait session to celebrate their grandparents ruby anniversary. The location was a local park near Taunton with lots of different areas to explore and have fun! After some more formal shots for the family album the children were allowed to explore and play.
