Family Portrait – A Walk in the Woods

As a Taunton family portait photographer, living in Somerset, I love Autumn and the colours it brings. A few weeks ago before Winter set in, I had the opportunity for a family portrait shoot at Wellington Monument. Nearly all of my family portraits are done on location either at the family home or their favourite family location as I believe it helps them to relax. With relaxed clients I am in a better position to capture the true personalities of the people I am photographing. It also allows me to have fun with the surroundings and take some wonderful family images. Wellington Monument is a place I know well and love because of the lovely Autumn colours. The plan was to meet, go for a walk up to the Monument and see what happened. With a few days of dry weather dry weather the leaves were dry, looking wonderful and easy to pick up and kick around. The walk lasted for around an hour and we managed to get some fantastic shots of the children having fun! Please take some time to have a look at the images from the family photo shoot below:
