I love a good wedding and a Christmas wedding is very special. My last wedding of 2017 was at the very beautiful Dunster Castle in Somerset. Before the wedding the bride and groom got ready at Emmetts Grange holiday cottages based in the heart of Exmoor. At 1250 feet above sea level the property offers spectacular views of Exmoor. Unfortunately on the day the weather was not so wonderful. For most of the time we could only see fog! When hair and make up had finished and everyone was ready, it is was a quick drive down to Dunster Castle for the wedding.
Dunster Castle is beautiful at any time of the year but being the middle of December, I lost count of the number of Christmas trees and decorations around the venue. It really is a very beautiful place for a Christmas Wedding. You will see from the images below the groom is a guitar player. So after the signing of the register and some formal bride and groom portraits the bride and groom entered the reception with him playing his guitar!
