It is always nice to be asked to photograph a friends wedding! As a Wedding Photographer I am lucky to photograph weddings all over the county and further afield. In 2017 I will be visiting some new venues from the beautiful Cranberries Hideaway in Devon to a gorgeous stately home in Shropshire. However, it is always nice when I have a wedding close to home.
My last wedding of 2016, was the wedding of Paul and Kerry. Both Paul and Kerry are good friends. The wedding was held in at the Somerset Register Office in Taunton. I have photographed a few weddings at the Register Office so know the venue well. It is a lovely venue with various rooms to accommodate different sized weddings. Furthermore it is a short walk away from the Castle Hotel where the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready. This meant that after photographing the bride getting ready I could get over the to the Register Office to capture some photos of the groom before the ceremony.
Following the ceremony the party moved to the Ring of Bells, in Norton Fitzwarren for a meal and then onto the Wellsprings Leisure Centre for the evening party complete with Bouncy Castle for the children (or so they say ;-) ). Congratulations to Paul and Kerry. Wishing you all the best for the future…
